Dog Olympic Day

Decided to bring my doggy out to socialise at the Dog Olympics at Central Park yesterday. Was prepared for the worst ie. chasing after her, trying to get her under control, etc etc etc. But she behaved like an angel. :)

Beauty the Bull Terrier
who is like an energizer bunny

This Goldie was getting all manja-ed

Roxy the Malamute
Such a pretty doggy! :)

I lovelovelove Huskies

We had to drag Beauty up the first few steps of the obstacle

But in no time, she was doing it like a pro

Omgsodamncute!
the dog, not Sheryl :)

Looks like this ShihTzu got punched in the eye. Hehe

This Poodle was a ball of fluff

Chow Chow!

Haha. Looks damn retarded but cute too :)

When I grow up, I am going to have 11 dogs. And then I will enter them in all the competitions and sapu everything! Mwahahaha. Wishful thinking. :)

Our Redang Getaway

It started at the ungodly hour of 4am on a Tuesday morning and lasted four days until a Friday evening. Four kickass awesome days. :)

We travelled by taxi, plane, bus and boat before reaching the island.

We where here! Residing in the Laguna Beach Resort

The view from the jetty to the island

Our Garden View Room. Room 505!
the very verandah where myself and Carmen played 'Hit the Tree' with Maltesers and later on lied to Sheryl (the owner of the Maltesers) that monkeys did it. :)

And the beach view from our resort

Pretty, no?

With the roomies! Minus Sheryl who was God knows doing what

With Pik Yeng, who btw planned the whole trip

Plus Sharkie

The Gang Green Gang! :)

With Pik Yeng
we have got like a gazillion pics together :)

When we went to the Marine Park

Sheryl Gan poser!

Back at the resort, Boon got sand sculpted!
Please excuse the obscenity of it. :)

Just the three of us

Carmen jumps damn high wei!

You see! She almost jumped out of the picture

Where Shark looks like a graceful ballerina
which she most definitely isn't

Boo. Me and Fern didn't manage to take off

Me and Fern made a heart! Do you see it?

Guess what we were trying to spell out :)
R-E-D-A-N-G!

I like this shot a lot

On a sidenote, do you know how nice it is to eat ice cream on a beach? It's heaven I tell you. I had my first taste of the new Tropicana mango ice cream and it is omgsogood. :)

I swear, we did not plan to bring the same dress. It was pure coincidence!

Celebrated Boonie's birthday
aweeee.. So sweet

We planned a three stage suprise for him!

Stage1
took place in his room where we simply sang Happy Birthday to him
Stage2
took place at the beach where we stuck 18 candles into the sand and left it there for him to stumble upon
Stage3
took place in his room again where we snuck in along with his cake

Aren't we such good friends? :)

We went canouing too which was super massive tiring

And yet another picture with Pik Yeng :)

Another one of my favourite pictures

We spent our last night well. Played a drinking game, watched Spain whoop Russia (who will btw, definitely be crowned champions) and also, failed to wake up the next morning for our last meal. Yeap.. Bunch of losers. Hungry losers. :(

Our only group picture with all 16 of us

Bye bye Redang

I don't know what else to say, whatever I've said has hardly done the trip justice. Words are not enough! Lol. The pictures however, are a different story. So hopefully I've put up enough pictures. Just some extra information here, we took roughly around 1000 pictures which can easily be found on facebook so yeah. Go lookie if you wanna see.

But here's just one more picture for the world to see. :)

Boys, meet Brianna! Ain't she a cutie? Lol.

Home Sweet Home

Forgive the four day hiatus but I was stranded on an island!
Well, stranded might not be the right word for it. :)

Expect a super massive long post on my island getaway tomorrow.
Right now, I am too tired and sunburnt to blog.

Enter the Rabbit!

Yesterday was Nuffnang's Wild "Live" Party at Modesto's and it was funfunfun. DebFong was my teman for the night. :)

Animals spotted last night:
Rabbits, all she-rabbits except for one. Lucky he-rabbit. Lol.
Butterflies, Bees and Ladybugs.
Members of the feline family ie. Lions, Tigers, Leopards and Cats.
A family of Gorrilas, one of them was smoking wei!
An Ostrich, a Unicorn, and a Panda.
Two Elephants, though one was an Elephant Terrorist.
And manymanymany more!

The Bunny and The Butterfly

With Amanda Choe who came as a Mouse
though she later whipped off her mouse ears and said she was a leopard :)

With Hanis, one of the Malaysian Dream Girl finalists

The only Unicorn present, Michelle Tiah

With the Nuffy Bunny

Mr. Emcee for the night, Liang

With college buds, Roeseann the Mouse and Wee Lim the Cow

Suet Li the Ostrich

Ringo the Lioness

Su Ann the LadyBug
She even brought this huge ass leaf along. Said it was her home. Lol. :)

Chee Seng the "Penther" and Chee Hong the "Badger"
Try figure out why.

With Uncle Josh

Bumped into Ren as well!
We were all sitting at the same table for the Made of Honour preview. :)

Timothy Tiah came as a Lion

With Yee Hou the Chicken.. I mean Rooster

And Kenny Sia came as Pooh Bear
So cuuuuute. :)

With Jolyn the Lioness

Winners of the night were..

Most Creative Post - Ren
Worst Recognizable Animal Post - Hsu Jen
Oddest Place for an Animal Post - Shad

And the King & Queen of the Jungle for the night was.. A cow and a lioness! Odd combo but ah well. They walked away with a laptop each. Luckyluckylucky.

All in all, a great event. Even though they had us running around looking for teeny weeny figurines and playing scissors, paper, stone to win rubberbands. Yes yes. What a night. :)

The Spinning Teacup

Pirate Train Ride

Bumper Cars!

Bumper Boats!

And before we left, we just had to visit the arcade, try win some tickets and redeem them for a kickass stuff toy! And then we came across this...

Security came by not long after and told him to get out. Lol.
Anyhow, Genting was funfunfun. We should do this more often! :)

And oh, I managed to get the invite for Nuffnang's Wild "Live" Blogging event at Modesto's. So expect a post about it soon!

Girls Day Out

Finally met up with Li-anne despite her coming back more than a week ago. Dined at Telawi Street Bistro and then headed up to Starbucks for some chitchat.

Carmen, Amani and I

Li-anne and Sheryl

Brought Amani to Mooie (which is like the best boutique in Telawi) because she has never been there. Shocking, no? And something huge and furry caught my eye. Haha. Started camwhoring with the stuffed bear in the shop. :)

Bear and I

Stupid Sheryl stole Bear :(

Finally agreed to share Bear :)

Only after we'd taken a gazillion pics with it, hugged it and practically rubbed our faces on it did Carmen decide to comment.

"I wonder how long it's been there. Must be pretty dirty."

Crap...

Oh, hectic day

Headed over to the KL Hilton with Jason today for the second food tasting session for our Annual Ball. Hehe. Free lunch. Yummy yummy.

Scallops with Apple and Avacodo in Truffle Oil

Creme Brulee

Didn't get to sample the main course because someone (read: Jason) didn't invite me for the previous tasting.

Headed back to Wesley after that to pick up the sister. They've installed some horrible looking green thingies which I've been told are to block the sun. Hello, heard of blinds?

Didn't dare venture too far within in fear of being spotted by either of the two hags. And so, I spent most of my time hiding behind Lex. :)

Went home, quickly change and rushed off to netball training which lasted for 3 hours. Damn tired now wei. I need to sleep.

The Game called Scrabble

If you haven't played Scrabble or at least heard of it..... no comment wei.

Anyhow! The hag and I had a Scrabble match after the Made of Honour Screening.

Bring it on hag!

But it was Scrabble with a twist. We had to come up with names, not words. Sounds simple enough doesn't it? After all, there have to be a million names out there. However, it wasn't that easy. You should've seen some of the crap we came up with.

In the end, the final score was 274-24something. Stupid hag.

I DEMAND A REMATCH!

Nuffnang Wild 'Live' Blogging

Come this 21st of June, Nuffnang will be organising a live blogging gathering! Click here for more details.

Iwannago.Iwannago.Iwannago.Iwannago.Iwannago.Iwannago. :)
And so, this here is my attempt to get an invitation!

We've all heard of the three headed dog called Cerberus, demon hound of Hades who guarded the gates of Hell.

Fuyoh, ganas wei.

Imagine putting three of your favourite breeds together and walah, three headed dog! Only much cuter and probably not so scary.

So, here are my top three favourite dogs of all time.

The Siberian Husky

The Pembroke Welsh Corgi

The Collie

And now,
Hehe. :)

Made of Honour Special Screening

"An enchanted evening of scrumptious 8 course dinner, heavenly dessert, divine wine, chic fashion show, scintillating entertainment, fabulous prizes & a preview screening of Made of Honour."

Darling Debra managed to win tickets for this event and invited me to tag along.

Rach & Deb

Victoria & Myself

Ooh.. Pretty

Very pretty

Now, if only our ball could be this grand.. :)

Smoked Duck with Chutney, Seared Tiger Prawns, Mango Kerabu

Bamboo Pith and Chicken Soup

Seafood with Mushroom Cream Sauce in Yam Ring

Seabass in Thai Sauce with Lotus Leaf Rice

Chicken Parcel with Asparagus

Baby Carrots with Risotto

Chocolate Cake with Haagen Dazs

Made of Honour was a decent enough film. Won't say much about the movie apart from this. Patrick Dempsey is hot. I would watch it again, just to watch him. :)

My rating? 7/10

Happy Belated Birthday Debs!

Here we go again

And I have started blogging again. Thanks a lot Debs.

Won't bother with an introductory post though. Malas la. :)
