H1N1

Finally got the parents to give in and take me to the hospital for the H1N1 test.

For all you strangers out there who know nothing about what's going on in my life apart from what you read here, one of my friends who just got back from UK tested positive over the weekend.

So, I saw her (before she tested positive mind you). We talked a little, hugged a little, so basically there was contact.

And then I developed the symptoms.

Sore throat, cough, fever, headaches and joint aches.

Ironically enough, the only missing symptom was the flu itself.

Ever the optimist, I decided it couldn't be swine flu and that I'd be as right as rain in a few days.

Pfft. Right as rain. Apparently not.
