A Red Carpet Affair

I swear, ball preparations are a pain especially for us girls.

Guys get it easy. All they need to worry about is their suit and shirt, sometimes tie.

Us girls on the other hand have to worry about our dress, our hair, our make up, our heels, our clutch, our etc. etc. etc. Ma fan betul.

But I guess all that effort (and money spent!) is worth it when you turn out all gorgeous.

Two days ago, HELP's A-Levels Annual Ball was held at Sunway Resort & Spa.

Compared to last years ball, the turn out was amazing. In terms of entertainment, this years ball triumphed as well.

However, the food was horrible. The prawns in the starter weren't fresh at all, the pumpkin soup was watered down, the chicken was so dry and the dessert, well, I'm not a fan of bananas so it didn't appeal to me.

All that aside, I did have a good time. (:

Not enough pictures? There's plenty more on Facebook. (:

The End

Just hours ago, I sat for my final A-levels paper.

And just like that, I'm done with college.

I know time flies but to think that one and a half years has already come and gone is kinda unbelievable. Like seriously, wow.

So here I am, with 3 whole free months ahead of me. Oh joy.

And on a completely unrelated note, Transformers was pretty darn awesome. Much thanks to Nuffnang for the premiere passes. (:

I Can't Get Enough of Transfomers

[edit] And the tickets are mineminemine. (:

Here I am today blogging about yet another Nuffnang Premiere.

This time round, they've got passes to the hottest movie of the year; Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

And despite being right before my crucial FP3 paper, I AM SO DESPERATE TO GO WATCH THE AUTOBOTS KICK SOME DECEPTICON BUTT!

So desperate in fact that I'm posting this unbelievably incredibly embarrassing video up.

To hell with my dignity! *runs away and hides*

video

OHMYGOD, I sound like a frog. Scratch that, I sound like a toad!

A toad who really really really can't get enough of Transformers. :)

Ps. That miserable attempt was in fact based on (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction by the Rolling Stones.

I is Stressed

[edit] Just got a call from Maxis. Scholarship interview next Monday. Ugh.

So, I'm in the midst of my final right now (2 down, 8 more to go!) and something popped up which has probably increased my stress levels by a tenfold.

I've been shortlisted for the Bank Negara scholarships which pretty much determines my future at LSE or not.

And it's on Thursday, right between Physics 5 and Econs 6.

Eeep.
